Architectural Design

The Study provides architectural design services for a variety of project types. As a registered architect (WA #2499), we have experience in both residential and commercial projects. Our particular focus is on energy efficiency design, incorporating solar passive design principles with natural ventilation and  appropriate material choices to create comfortable spaces which reduce the requirement for artificial heating and cooling.

DESIGN / RESIDENTIAL / NEW

From modest two bedroom homes to luxury residences, we have experience working across many types of home designs. We work with your budget to create efficient layouts with an emphasis on livable spaces and reducing wasteful area. As advocates for sustainability, we try to design efficient spaces with multiple uses and consider adaptability over the building's life to suit changing needs.

DESIGN / RESIDENTIAL / ALTS & ADDS

Working with an existing home can prove challenging, but creates the opportunity to re-purpose the existing building into  a more suitable space and adapt the old in with the new. From converting garages to habitable areas, right up to adding new living wings, we have experience in creating efficient additions and thoughtful alterations to existing homes. We have experience in the requirements of the R-Codes and local authority guidelines - we can work within (and push the boundaries of) the planning requirements applicable to your project.

DESIGN / COMMERCIAL

From shop and cafe fit-outs, to multimillion dollar mixed use developments, we have a varied experience in commercial design. Commercial projects come with an added layer of compliance requirements related to fire safety, access/egress and universal (disabled) access. Under the employment of other design firms -  we have worked on a multitude of projects across the state, from showrooms in Bunbury to apartments in Karratha.
